How Do You Remove Ink From Clothing That Has Been Dried

Ink on clothes that have been dried try spraying the heck out of it on both sides with hairspray blotting as you go.

How do you remove ink from clothing that has been dried. Pour three tablespoons of white vinegar and two tablespoons of liquid detergent into a quart size spray bottle. Lay your garment on a flat surface and place an old towel under the layer of garment that contains the ink stain. Fill the remainder of the bottle with warm water. Spritz a small amount of hairspray on the wet mark and blot the front and back of the stain with a white paper towel.

Cold water is more effective at removing ink stains than warm water. Wet a sponge with cold water and dab at the stain. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Try using nail polish remover instead.

Rinse the spot with cold water. Once all of the visible ink is gone run the affected area under cold water in the sink. It may take some time and patience. Blot the pen stain with a clean white rag to absorb the alcohol or hairspray.

Place the ink stained part of the clothing face up on the rag. Treat the spot with a squirt of liquid stain remover and launder the garment in a cold water wash cycle. Step 2 remove the fabric from the warm water and spray the stained area with hairspray. Step 2 shake the contents of the bottle to mix the cleaner and spray the set in stain with the cleaning solution.

Leave the garment on the counter to soak for 10 minutes. Let the garment air dry. Apply some to a cotton ball and wipe the affected areas with the solution. Continue blotting until stain is removed.

Pour rubbing alcohol onto the spot or spray the ink stain with hairspray. If rubbing alcohol doesnt seem to be doing the trick try amodex ink stain remover. Using a clean cloth blot the stain with rubbing alcohol. Fill a bucket with warm water and let the fabric soak preferably for more than two hours.
